Do Beagliers shed? Yes, they are moderate sheddars very similar to a Beagle.
Do Beagliers track scent like a hunting dog? The Cavalier bloodline tends to override the hunting instict making chasing butterflies a priority over tracking scent!
Are Beagliers hard to house train? No, quite the opposite! Beagliers are very smart, love to learn new things, but require consistency and praise!
How big will a Beaglier become? Our puppies are out of a small Beagle line and pups should not be over 18 pounds. This is dependent upon how much the dog is fed and exercised.

We encourage everyone to do their homework to assure that the Cavalier or Beaglier puppy is the best choice for your family. Beagliers are wonderful with children and make excellent dogs for homes or apartments. Beagliers are wonderful family dogs who have so much love to give!
The first generation Beaglier will typically carry the coloring of the Cavalier. Cavaliers have four colors: Ruby, Tri-Color, Bleinheim, and Black and Tan. Beagles are a hunting dog and when crossed with a Cavalier, commonly lose the excitement of trailing game.
Beagliers need a daily brushing and are medium shedders. The needs of a Beaglier is very similar as to the Beagle.
Our Beaglier puppies come with the paperwork to register them as a hybrid dog; however, the purpose of the registration paperwork is to assure our customers that the sire and dam are purebred dogs.
We like to wean our puppies at six or seven weeks determined by the need to nurse. We will not make available a puppy under the age of 8 weeks for placement.
Have a question about the breed? Send it to us through the contact page and we will answer it on our blog page.
